1 subtracted, 1 added to board at LL-H Schools
LAKE LINDEN — The Lake Linden-Hubbell Public Schools Board accepted the resignation of one board member and appointed another in her place Monday.
The board accepted the resignation of Lori Ambuehl, effective Jan. 2. Superintendent Craig Sundblad said. Sundblad said the resignation had been something Ambuehl was thinking about.
“She’s done so much for the school” during her time on the board, Sundblad said.
Replacing Ambuehl on the board is President Patricia Burton, who would otherwise have left the board after having been voted out in November’s election.
The board reappointed Burton as president during an organizational meeting preceding the regular board meeting, along with Jeff Dennis as vice president, Kim Codere as secretary and Denise Lepisto as treasurer.
Burton said Ambuehl would be greatly missed.
“She’s put in hours and hours for her time for the school, both here at school and away from school, and we hope that she can return to the board, if she so chooses,” she said.
