Culligan returns to the Copper Country
Wondering where your Culligan Man has gone? Culligan representation and products have returned to the Copper Country.
When the previous dealer dropped the brand last fall, Culligan of Ashland owners Julie and Joe Gendrich stepped up to the plate and committed to continuing to provide authorized sales and service to existing and new accounts while growing the business. Currently based in Ashland, Wis., they enlisted the service of local Culligan sales and serviceman Ed LaCount of Watersmeet, Mich. With over 25 years of combined service with Culligan equipment, they look forward to servicing the local area with the complete line of quality Culligan products. Hopes to establish a physical location in the near future will depend on how fast they can establish a customer base in the area. They are currently serving Marquette, Ontonagon, Houghton, Keweenaw and Baraga counties.
“Individuals and businesses can reestablish the same types of services they had before, possibly with more competitive pricing,” said LaCount, “There could be some big savings to come back with Culligan, give us a call to see.”
“Having worked the area for the past 5 years I am aware of the local water conditions and many of the Culligan customers’ needs. I look forward to revisiting many of them and meeting new customers too.”
Culligan carries a full line of water treatment equipment for homes, businesses, and industrial applications. Consumer benefits of Culligan water treatment equipment – which removes unwanted minerals and contaminates from water – extend beyond cleaner tile and sinks. Hard water also affects laundry, dishes and skin and hair. A Culligan water softener will result in savings because less soap, shampoo and detergent is required. Water heating bills can even be reduced by as much as 29 percent. The systems can also remove impurities and chemical elements that may be in tap water.
Culligan also supplies homes and businesses with bottled drinking water options. These options ensure clean water in homes and businesses, providing consumers with better tasting water.
Equipment options include rental or purchase of:
Water softener systems
Whole house filtration systems
Reverse osmosis drinking water
Coolers for 5-gallon bottles

“Give us a call and the opportunity to provide you authorized sales and service,” said LaCount. “Joe, Julie and I are very committed to continuing to provide the area the highest level of service and products available”.
