HEET hosting LED bulb giveaway

CALUMET – The Houghton Energy Efficiency Team (HEET) is holding the first of two Great LED Light Bulb Swaps on Saturday in Calumet from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Siskiwit Reception Hall.

The first 100 households that bring in an old incandescent bulb can swap it for a new, energy-saving LED light bulb.

A limited number of free LED bulbs is also available for Ontonagon County REA customers – bring a recent power bill to qualify.

For UPPCO customers, Efficiency United will be on hand selling LED bulbs at the deeply discounted rate of six for $10.

Information on additional energy-saving services, products and practices will also be available.
