Copper Country Mall Craft Show Saturday

File photo Several dozen vendors will offer thousands of craft pieces for sale at the Copper Country Mall Craft Show.

HOUGHTON — The Daily Mining Gazette Copper Country Mall Craft Show will be held this Saturday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. and will once again feature thousands of different crafts.

Even with his busy schedule, Santa is going to stop in. Santa will be at the mall’s Center Court to meet good little boys and girls between 11 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. While Santa is at the store, Sears Hometown will have a special sale.

The show will feature handmade wood items for home, cottage, camp or garage. The show will feature numerous handcrafted items that make special gifts for everyone in the family, including Christmas ornaments and locally made soaps.

Vendors at the show include those selling kids and adult clothing. There will be a display of clothing made from alpaca wool. Also for sale will be children’s books, some from local authors.

This annual event has drawn thousands of people from all over the Midwest.

The Dollar Bay senior class will be selling pasties and pizzas in the food kiosk. The mall will have the aroma of bakery in addition to the pizzas and pasties. Locally made maple syrup will be sold.

Other vendors include Tupperware, Mary Kay, Arbonne, Posh and Neal’s Organic.

In addition to having over 55 vendors at the show, volunteer organizations such as KSNAG will be on hand.

There is plenty of parking and lots of smiles from shoppers and vendors.
