Frank “Bud” J. Karkoski
WAUWATOSA, Wisc., – Frank “Bud” J. Karkoski, 93, entered eternal life on April 20, 2016.
He is the beloved husband, for 75 years, of Evelyn (nee Rastello); loving father of David (Lillian) and Camille (Dr. Donald) Baccus; cherished “papa,” of Nathan J., of San Francisco, California, Sarah E., of Boston, Massachusetts and Isaac J., of Dayton, Ohio; further survived by his dear sister, Catherine Karkoski, of Detroit; nieces, nephews, other relatives and his feline companion, Bitters.
He is preceded in death by his brothers, John and Ralph.
Frank proudly served his country in the Army during WWII in the China/India/ Burma Theater. He then obtained his degree in Electric Engineering at Michigan Tech and worked for G.E. as a Sales Engineer for 30 years.
Frank was an amateur radio operator (W9PGN). He loved sports, auto racing and enjoyed crossword puzzles.
Visitation will be held at St. Vincent Pallotti Parish in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, 201 N. 76th St., on Monday, April 25, 2016, from 10 a.m. until the Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m.
Private family committal services at will be held at Wisconsin Memorial Park.
In lieu of flowers, donations to St. Vincent Pallotti Parish would be appreciated.
