Thomas A. Moyle

HANCOCK – Thomas A. Moyle, 55, a resident of Hancock, died at his home on Wednesday, March 30, 2016.

He was born September 1, 1960, in Hancock, a son of Robert and Gloria (Ranta) Moyle.

He attended the Houghton Public Schools and graduated from Hancock High School.

Tom was self-employed in construction.

He was an avid outdoorsman. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and boating, especially taking his boat out to Isle Royale. He also loved 4-wheeling, dirt biking and snowmobiling.

Tom will be sadly missed by his family and friends.

Surviving are his mother, Gloria, of Hancock Township; two brothers and two sisters, Kenneth “Bink” (Lisa) of Hancock Township, Susan (Dan) Casey of Virginia, Jacalyn DeGroot of Marquette and Roger (Rebecka) of Marinette, Wisconsin; one uncle; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

Tom was preceded in death by his father, Robert; a brother, Richard; and a nephew, Josh Moyle.

Tom’s wishes were to be cremated. A gathering of family and friends will be held this summer, with interment to be in the Forest Hill Cemetery in Houghton.

Arrangements are being handled by the Jukuri-Antila Funeral Home of Hancock, Antila Funeral Service, Inc.
