Mary A. Bratetich

She was born in Swedetown location and graduated from Calumet High School in 1934.

Mary moved to Detroit, in 1942, where she was employed by General Motors Corporation for 31 years, retiring from the photographic division.

Mary was a member of the General Motors Chorus for 23 years and was a Red Cross Volunteer at Henry Ford Hospital for many years.

Retiring in 1974, she returned to Calumet and was active in the St. Paul the Apostle senior choir and altar society. Mary enjoyed being active in church affairs, loved flowers and working in the yard.

She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Mary Bratetich; brothers, Rudolph and John; sister, Antonia Kramer; a niece and nephews.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday, August 11, 2016, at 11 a.m. at the St. Paul the Apostle Church with Rev. Fr. Abraham Mupparathara to officiate.

Friends may call on Wednesday, August 10, 2016, from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the Ryan Funeral Home with parish prayer service at 8 p.m.
