Lempi Maria Tervo

BEVERLY HILLS, Flor. – Lempi Maria Tervo, 87, passed away in Altamonte Springs, Florida, on November 5, 2016.

She was born in Keweenaw Bay, on March 8, 1929, daughter of Kalle and Kaisa Tervo. Lempi was a 1947 graduate of Baraga High School.

She worked as a bookkeeper at Taylor and Gaskin in Detroit and was a long time resident of Sterling Heights, until her retirement in Beverly Hills, Florida.

She is the dear sister of the late Waino (June) Tervo, Wesley (Helen) Tervo, Lillian (the late Edward) Wyszacki, Sylvia (Wallace) Aho and Ellen (the late Ted) Findlay; loving aunt to 11, plus 16 great and six great-great nieces and nephews.

She was a dear friend to many and will be missed by all.

A Memorial Service honoring Lempi’s life, will be held on Saturday, November 19, 2016, at 1:30 p.m. ai St Thomas Lutheran Church, 8771 East 15 Mile Road, Sterling Heights. Family will receive visitors at 1 p.m. prior to the service.
