George Bradford Pruner, Jr. ‘Brad’
George Bradford Pruner, Jr. “Brad” passed away peacefully, November 8, 2017, after complications from surgery, surrounded by his loving family, at Select Specialty Hospital, in West Allis, Wisconsin.
Brad was born December 29, 1944, to the union of the late George B. Sr. and Maud (nee Milford) Pruner, in Hancock.
Brad received his formal education from Houghton High School, graduating in 1962. Furthering his education, Brad attended Suomi College and Ferris State University.
Brad served honorably in the U.S. Army from 1965 until 1967.
Brad was employed by the Daily Mining Gazette as a printer, for 50 years.
In 1968, Brad married Judith Fowler. Their 14 years marriage was blessed with two children.
Brad is survived by Judith; his dear children, Joan (Joe) Rozum of Milwaukee, Wisconsin, and Daniel (Amy) of Marquette; grandson, Jory Pruner; brother, Allen (Cathy) Pruner of Royal Oak; and nephews, Kristopher Pruner of Dallas, Texas, and Kyle (Lindsey) of Farmington Hills. He also leaves to cherish many cousins, other relatives and friends.

In lieu of other expressions of sympathy, the family suggests donations be made to the Eagle Harbor Volunteer Fire Department, 321 Center St., Eagle Harbor, MI 49950.
