Yolanda A. ‘Lonnie’ Nagele

L’ANSE — Yolanda A. “Lonnie” Nagele, 48, of L’Anse, died peacefully Wednesday morning, February 14, 2018, at her home, with her family by her side.

She was born January 12, 1970, in Dearborn, Michigan to Daniel Pobur and Marilyn Puroll and later adopted by Chris and Therese (Fitzgerald) LaMarra.

She graduated from Churchill High School in Livonia.

Lonnie married Charles Nagele on February 7, 1992, in Toledo, Ohio and the couple moved their family to L’Anse in 2003.

She worked at Meijer in Canton, Michigan, before taking a job as manager at Pat’s Foods in the Beer, Wine & Liquor Dept.

She was a Michigan football fan. She loved rides in the woods, times with family & friends, food, fishing, casino trips, reading and especially her grandchildren.

Lonnie is survived by her husband, Charles Nagele of L’Anse; daughters, Samantha Nagele of Gladstone, Jessica Nagele of Bemidji, Minnestoa and Kayla Nagele of L’Anse; grandchildren, Jaxson and Bella; mother, Marilyn (Gary) Jordan of St. Helen, Michigan; and her siblings, Shawn Sirdell of Taylor, Michigan, Danielle Arntson of South Rockwood, Michigan, Frank (Nicole) Kren of Newport, Michigan and Brian Kren of Brownstown, Michigan.

She was preceded in death by her adoptive parents, Chris and Therese.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, February 22, 2018, from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. at the Jacobson Funeral Home.

A memorial service will be held in the funeral home at 4 p.m. with Deacon John Cadeau officiating.

A luncheon will follow at the L’Anse American Legion at 5 p.m.
