US could remain forever divided

To the editor:

More significant than Donald Trump’s presidential win is the Clinton defeat after both Bill and Hill have repeatedly attempted to thumb their noses at our nation’s laws. Sad to say, probably all of America’s numerous problems will continue unimpeded.

Considering the ongoing anti-Trump protests still in progress and the apparent irreparable damage done by the two-term Obama administration, the United States may forever remain a divided country. Will the Muslim goal of establishing sharia law be halted?

As if the divisions in our homeland including race, feminism, political correctness, etc., aren’t bad enough, transgenderism has been added to the mix.

On May 30, the Department of Health & Human Services ruled Medicare can pay for “reassignment” surgery. Consider not only the current public bathroom issue but also transgenders possibly serving in the military?

Paul McHugh, former chief psychiatrist at Johns Hopkins Hospital, has much to say on this topic. Read his recent articles on the Internet entitled “Transgender Surgery Isn’t the Solution” and “Transgenderism: Pathogenic Meme.” McHugh claims that the most a person can “become” is a masculinized woman (or a feminized man) … mere counterfeits or impersonators of the sex with which a person identifes. Moreover, he claims this is a civil rights matter and “encouraging surgical intervention is in reality to collaborate with and promote a mental disorder.”

McHugh also states, “Plenty of evidence demonstrates that…transgendering is a psychological rather than biological matter. … But gird your loins if you would confront this. Hell hath no fury like a vested interest masquerading as a moral principle.”

Last time I checked God’s Word, the Bible, it appears that the entire world is right on track with end times prophecy. Mankind’s degradation continues its downward spiral. The prince of this world, Satan, is winning his turf.

“Seek ye the Lord while he may be found, call ye upon him while he is near: Let the wicked forsake his way, and the unrighteous man his thoughts: and let him return unto the Lord, and he will have mercy upon him; and to our God, for he will abundantly pardon.” Isaiah 55:6-7.
