Donald Trump is a bully – and he is afraid

To the editor:

Donald Trump is scared. Many describe his behavior as being that of a bully. The underlying motivation of a bully is great personal fear that they cover up by aggressive, inappropriate behavior. 1) bullies attack from afar. Trump throws his “rocks” from behind Twitter and avoids direct confrontations (like news conferences) like the plague. 2) bullies pick on the “weak”. Trump’s mocking of a disabled journalist was typical, yet deplorable. 3) bullies cuddle up to people that are stronger than they are. Trump is afraid of Putin, so he tries to “befriend” him. 4) bullies secretly long to be adored by large groups of people. Hence, Trump will say anything (build the wall, make America great again, etc) whether true or not, to get the approval of the public.

Whether right or wrong, success or failure, Barack Obama was/is courageous and not afraid to do his duty. Now, we have elected a man that is terrified of the job. When the tough buck stops with President Trump, he will fold like a tent. That’s what bullies do. We are in for an eye-opening ride!
