Bergman should represent 1st Dist.

To the editor:

Does anyone know why Jack Bergman voted to repeal the Consumer’s Financial Protection Bureau’s rule that allowed consumers, you and me, the ability to file class actions suits against companies  who commit unfair or illegal practices? Did he do it to protect his cronies at the Wells Fargo bank who have a branch in Marquette and Gwinn?

His vote is suspicious because the only Wells Fargo bank in Michigan is in Marquette and Gwinn.  The other Wells Fargo offices are just investment firms.

How many of his constituents were hurt by Wells Fargo admitted illegal activities? Not once but twice.

Does Bergman even care? Call Jack Bergman at 231-640-9158 and ask him who he represents. His job is to represent the interests of the citizens of the First Congressional District, not banking cronies from another state.
