Outpouring of love comforting
To the editor:
The entire Lancour and Anderson families would like to express our most heartfelt thanks to the EMS responders and the multiple police officers who came to our aid in our hour of need.
We truly appreciate the compassionate receptionists, nurses and doctors that were working in the Emergency Room for providing loving care for our whole family.
We can never say thank you enough to Tara Packard who kept showing up when we needed her most to provide any help we needed and to pray with us when we were so scared and hurting, and to the many friends who came to the hospital to help us process what had happened.
Thank you to Father William Ssozi for his friendship and spiritual support and to Mark and Jeff Dennis, along with Joe Pleshe, of the O’Neill-Dennis Funeral Home who went the extra mile to take care of the many arrangements that needed to be made and for doing so in such a loving way.
Thank you to the hundreds of friends, family members, students, and parents of students who waited in line for hours to have the chance to honor Steve and bring us their love.
Thank you to all those who provided food for the family and for the funeral luncheon, to those who set up, and those who cleaned up afterwards.
Our family feels truly blessed to be surrounded by such a loving and caring community.
Your outpouring of love has wrapped us in comfort at this very heartbreaking time.
