There is no lacking in God
To the editor:
God does everything in grand scale as seen in creation. (Psalm 19:1;Hebrews 11:3)
There is no lack in God (Psalm 23:1; Psalm 105:37; John 10:10)
Just think it took 4,000 tons of manna each day for 40 years, 146,600 days or 58,400 tons of manna. That’s a lot of manna!
How about water? It took 60,000 tons of water each day for livestock and people. No springs, rivers, lakes — nothing but hot sandy desert. Yes, they did get water from rocks (Exodus 17:6;1 Corinthians 5:7).
So God took care of 3.5 million people for 40 years, in the wilderness — no supermarkets, drug stores, hospitals, shopping malls, restaurants –nothing. God does not work with dollars. God is a miracle working God and can do anything. All things are possible with God!
Let’s try and put a dollar value on what God has done. It cost $10 million a day to take care of the Jews. Calculated to over $100 billion over 40 years to get Israel out of Egypt. There was no government assistance. Who says there is no God? There is no lack in our God. He brought them out with silver and gold, and not one feeble one among them (Psalm 105:37).
Since 1948 when Israel became a nation (Ezekiel 36:28;37:14,21), then they won the war the 1967 war in 6 days. Yes, they are a mighty nation today and yes, they are hated by the Middle East nations. Keep praying for the peace of Jerusalem (Psalm 122:6). Israel is still God’s chosen people and will always be.
