Help came from everywhere

To the editor:

There are no words that adequately express our gratitude to so many who have helped us these past few weeks. The bystanders and staff of Hubbell LightHouse who came running, those who stood near and prayed and called for others to pray, the firefighters, the Jaws of Life crew, Lake Linden police officers, first responders, ambulance drivers/paramedics, blood donors, transport van drivers/attendants, the Medivac and air ambulance crews, emergency room staff and physicians at both Calumet and Wausau, Pigs ‘n’ Heat members, pastors Laidlaw and Nolen, and all those who have prayed, send cards, phoned and visited us.

A special thanks to those who have cared for us and continue to care for us at our local rehab facilities. Thanks to our children who have dropped everything to travel and help us in every possible way.

We certainly have a new and firsthand appreciation for those who spend countless hours training to save and care for lives.

We thank God for each one of you and covet your continued prayers as we are recovering.
