LL-H Sports Fall fundraiser

To the editor:

On behalf of student-athletes and coaches at Lake Linden-Hubbell Schools, I would like to thank the many parents, community members and local businesses that donated their time or made monetary donations to the third annual Fall Fundraiser Dinner held on Sept. 29 at the Bootjack Fire Hall.

The dinner was a huge success because of the many spirited and dedicated parent volunteers and generous donations from local businesses.

The Lake Linden-Hubbell Sports Booster Club supports all athletics and athletes grades 7-12. Money raised by the Booster Club is used to purchase new uniforms for the teams, and all new equipment needed each season.

Many thanks to the hard-working volunteers who prepared the food: John Hodges, Lori Ambeuhl, Tina Sarazin, and Todd Sarazin. The night would not have been a success without emcee Rodd Haltunen and donations received from the following:

Louie’s Fresh Markets, Koppers, Dollar Bay Linoleum and Tile, Peninsula Powder Coating, Ryan and Penny Milkey, DeMars Market, Door Solutions and Glass, Hodges Floor Covering and Instalation, Peninsula Products, Reed Construction;

Beth Anderson, Aspirus Fitness Center, Avenue Salon, Cafe Rosetta, Calumet Floral, Calumet Golf Course, Andy Crouch, Chopp-Kallio Insurance Agency, Connie’s Kitchen, Denali/Waterfront/The Hut, Bruce Destrampe;
