Democrats stand against God’s law
To the editor:
For the first time in American history we have a major political party, the Democrats, who stand against every one of God’s Ten Commandments. Socialism is based on coveting what others have, breaking the Tenth Commandment, using the power of government to rob wages from one person to gain political favor from another.
The Kavanaugh hearings were filled with “bearing false witness” for political advantage, violating the Ninth. Fake news by liberal news outlets attempts to justify this when lying supports its ideology.
Our income tax system allows government to steal by taxation and redistribute money it wouldn’t otherwise have, disobeying the Eighth. Many welfare recipients have learned to game the system, a voting bloc highly prized by progressives.
Leftists in Hollywood totally debase the Seventh by producing films with unbelievably prurient behavior. They incite not only violence but also limitless depravity.
Although liberals feign caring about children, e.g., illegal aliens, the left’s devaluing of human life is clearly seen in supporting Planned Parenthood thus transgressing the Sixth.
Honoring parents went out the window in the 1960s when rebellion against all authority came into vogue, thus defiling the Fifth. Slogans like “do your own thing” became all important and self was promoted by psychologists.
Earnest believer, remember to take time for God daily in Bible reading, prayer and worship. This will honor the Fourth.
The left’s prevalent public use of words that were once considered not for publication, claiming protection via the free speech clause, certainly profanes the Third Commandment.
The golden calf worshiped by liberals appears to be none other than idolizing government itself, breaching the Second.
Socialism tends toward atheism which naturally defies the First.
No political party puts God first. Our Founding Fathers used the Ten Commandments as a guideline to govern. Yet today America itself is endangered.
Dear reader, be of good courage. Isaiah 43:10-11 says, “Ye are my witnesses, saith the Lord, and my servant whom I have chosen: that ye may know and believe me, and understand that I am he: before me there was no God formed, neither shall there be after me. I, even I, am the Lord; and beside me there is no savior.”
