No salvation from political parties

To the editor:

Amid all of America’s problems, it is highly important for the whole-hearted Christian to keep his/her eyes focused on the creator. Remember, there is no salvation in any political party. The prince of this world, Satan, is responsible for causing confusion, a few examples of which follow:

1. Some public schools have been teaching children as young as 5 years old about gender fluidity and differences between gender and sexual identity. They have become pagan seminaries.

2. Newer children’s books no longer teach them how to think but rather how to protest and chant slogans. And for boys, how to cross-dress.

3. Infanticide will soon be a choice open to women. Legally, the baby can literally be thrown out with the bath water.

4. For all the global warming prognosticators, yes, we experience cyclical weather changes. But be aware, weather is the one weapon in God’s arsenal that man cannot control.

Not only is God the Creator of all things, but he’s also their sustainer, of which Nehemiah 9:6 says “thou preservest them all.” (The reference is to the scientific recognition of the law of conservation of mass and energy.)

God says in Genesis 8:22 “While the earth remaineth, seedtime and harvest, and cold and heat, and summer and winter, and day and night shall not cease.”

2 Timothy 3:13 states “But evil men and seducers shall wax worse and worse, deceiving, and being deceived.” We certainly have arrived at this point.

Ephesians 6:10 tells us to “…be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might. Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.” That armour includes being girded with truth, the breastplate of righteousness, helmet of salvation, feet shod with peace and the two-edged sword which is his word. Don’t leave home without it.

One last thought to keep in mind is that “…God is not the author of confusion, but of peace…” (1 Corinthians 14:33) This principle applies in general to God’s entire creation.
