Rorschach test — ROAR-SHOCK — a psychoanalytic "ink blot" projective test in which a set of ink blots in various shapes and colors are presented one at a time for the subject to describe what he/she sees in each

Example: "In explaining the value of political conventions, Connie Cass of Associated Press comments that 'each convention serves as a Rorschach test of what's on our minds; this year it's joblessness, gay marriage, religious freedom, the national debt and women's rights.'"
