Word of the Day — November 30, 2012

December 3, 2012 - Scott Viau
Prescient — PREESH-yent — having or showing knowledge of events before they take place

Example: "In a review of the documentary about an early mining strike, a critic wrote: 'Remarkably prescient, given that the film was made long before the women's movement, is the fact that it is the wives who keep the strike alive while their husbands are beaten and otherwise oppressed by the owners.'"
