Word of the Day — January 16, 2013

January 16, 2013 - Scott Viau
Desiderata — deh-see-deh-RAH-tem — some things wanted or needed (single, desideratum)

Example: "Patricia Marx in a N.Y. Times column describes the use of paid helpers called 'Task Rabbits': 'There are some of the desiderata you'll find needed — sit with me while I do my taxes, make me do them, proofread my wife's novel, etc.'"
