salmagundi - sal-mah-goon-dee - a dish of chopped meat, anchovies, eggs, onions, seasoning; often used to denote any general mix or a miscellaneous collection
Example: "A New Yorker description of actor Colin Quinn's Broadway monologue, 'Colin Quinn Unconstitutional,' says that it has been called 'a salmagundi of alternative history...'"
