The Calumet Theatre presents the Friends of Fashion Theatre Benefit show "Corsets to Crinolines" at 2 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 8 at the theatre at 340 Sixth St. in Calumet. The first 50 years of dressing up for the Theatre — The Friends of Fashion, a dedicated group of women interested in preserving vintage clothing, bring to life a historical presentation centering on the Theatre's history from opening night March 20, 1800, to the 1960s. The event will be held in the Red Jacket Ballroom and includes a review of historical fashions, music accompaniment by Dave Bezotte, tea, coffee, sweets and savories.
