ROMULUS, Mich. (AP) — Two planes are stuck on taxiways at snowy Detroit Metropolitan Airport.
According to airport spokesman Michael Conway, crews are using trucks to push or pull the regional Delta jets out of the snow Wednesday morning.
Conway tells WDIV-TV passengers are on board, but he doesn't know how many.
Snow has been steadily falling for hours in southeastern Michigan, creating slippery surfaces and white-out conditions.
Conway tells WWJ-AM "snow is coming down really intensely right now." He calls it "blinding snow."
