CALUMET - Anderson Welding & Manufacturing, Inc. has been the area's Sno-Way snow plow dealer for the past 15 years, until recently.

"I decided it was time to focus my attention on my core business," general manager Keith Anderson said, citing his primary line of work involves welding and fabricating components for heavy equipment manufacturing companies.

Taking over as the new Sno-Way dealer locally is Auto X'pressions owner, Craig Bastian.

"He contacted me to see if I was interested in buying his inventory," Bastian explained. "Since I was already a subcontractor for Sno-Way, and we've been successful at selling plows in the wintertime, I thought it was a good business move."

Anderson agreed it couldn't have been a more suitable fit for Bastian's business.

"It does fit well with Craig's business because he's already got all the truck accessories," he said.

"I've been very happy to offer Sno-Way products for more than 15 years. I feel it's a great product. I just felt the need to concentrate on our core business."

Sno-Way snow plows are built to fit a wide range of vehicles including small trucks, SUVs, and heavy duty pickup trucks and are backed by a 5-year structural warranty.

"We will be handling all warranties on Sno-Way plows," Bastian said. "We also repair all brands of plows."

In addition, Sno-Way snow plows are lightweight, Bastian said, which reduces wear and tear on the vehicle.

Auto X'pressions is located along U.S. Highway 41 between Calumet and Hancock and specializes in vehicle accessories including ATV, snowmobile, camper and RV, as well as repairs. Trailer hitches and paint-less dent removal is also available at Auto X'pressions.

"We have everything that you can think of. And, we will beat anyone's price in the area," Bastian said. "You can get accessories at other stores, but this is what we do."

Just recently, Bastian said they picked up a line of spray-in bed liners by Scorpion.

"They offer UV protection and can match any factory paint," he said.

Outside the shop, customers will find used cars for sale by Dave Richards of Northside Auto Sales.

Bastian said he takes pride in offering only the best products for his customers.

"We are committed to our customer service of selling quality items," he said. "We stand behind our products and warranties."
