To the editor:

We would like to extend a sincere "thank you" to all that contributed to the recent Zik Classic golf tournament.

The proceeds from the event go to the Curt Twardzik Memorial Scholarship at Calumet High School. To date, 14 students have benefitted from the scholarship and we are proud of their accomplishments.

We would like to give a special "thank you" to the Keweenaw Mountain Lodge for being such a gracious host and to Joel Tuoriniemi for organizing the outing.
