Mother's Day 2009 was the annual dinner for charity held at the Harbor Haus restaurant in Copper Harbor. This year, as in years past, was a success in part to the volunteers that gave many hours of their time. We would like to thank all those who helped to make it a great day for the benefactors of the profits of that day.
Thank you to the Copper Harbor Trails Club members: Sam Raymond, Aaron Rogers, Steven Peters, Mike Sweeney, Nelson and Melanie Sommerfeldt and Tony Schwenn, Pat, Gilmore and Chris Peterson, Jim Drew and Marvin Hopf and to our staff Jule and Kevin Blackstone, Ken Steiner, Mike Cleveland, Kitty and Denise Klitch, Andrew MacDonald, Brian Harris, Jen Kivela, Kelly King, Matt Belhart, Loretta Helminen, Sara Huuki, Jessie Baroni, Amanda Wais and Larry Durland.
The recipients of this years proceeds are as follows: the Copper Harbor Trails Club, the Brian Tumor Institute at Marquette General Hospital, the Lake Linden Lions Club and Little Brothers Friends of the Elderly.
Thank you for showing just how special the Copper Country is an how fortunate we are to live here.
CHRIS AND RON WAARA
