The 2009 Lake Superior Performance Rally, the oldest, toughest, meanest leg of the Rally America Circuit may be over, but will not be forgotten. Rally fans need to stay tuned to lsprorally.com as changes come to the 2010 Lake Superior Performance Rally.

The 2009 Lake Superior Performance Rally was a great success.

Thousands of spectators were able to see the excitement of rally racing first hand. The LSPR Committee and Rally America would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to the sponsors: Country Inn & Suites of Houghton, The Keweenaw Mountain Lodge, Auto Valu Auto Parts of Houghton, Subaru, Goodwin Motors, Hancock Bottling the Keweenaw's Coca-Cola Bottler, The Keweenaw Peninsula Chamber of Commerce, Eagle Radio 98.7 the Rockin Eagle and 105.7 Eagle Country, Fox Motors of Marquette and Rally America.

To all of the volunteers who assisted at the stages with security, marshalling, time keepers, sweep crews, emergency medical assistance, HAM radio operators and the local HAM radio clubs (CCRAA, KCRA and HARC), the Ottawa National Forest Service, Bay Ambulance and Mercy Ambulance, Eagle Harbor and Copper Harbor First Responders and of course our motels, hotels, restaurants and merchants for making the drivers, co-drivers and teams feel welcome in our communities.

Thank you Houghton, Kenton, Calumet, Copper Harbor, L'Anse and all the municipalities in between for your hospitality.

Thank you to the drivers, co-drivers and teams, and to the spectators for making the 2009 Lake Superior Performance Rally a great event. The LSPR is rally, real cars, real roads, real fast.
