Another fun time was had by all who participated in our annual Loading Zone II Golf Outings held in September at the Calumet Golf Course. The men's scramble was on a Saturday and the mixed scramble on a Sunday. We had a great time, a delicious meal and many prizes were given away.
A big thank you to Cheryl and Tom Monette and Alicia Reed for all their hard work, with getting donations, collecting the fee at the golf course, organizing and handing out the prizes and, of course, putting together the jello shots. We could not do it without them.
Also a big thanks to Kevin at the Calumet Golf Course for giving us a break on fees and allowing us to use the course.
We would also like to give a big thanks to the following businesses who always so graciously give to our event. Thanks to the following: All Styles, Copperland, Peterlin, Reinhart, McCabes, River Valley Bank, Keweenaw Auto Body, PaPa's Family Kitchen, Pik Quik, Pisani's, Calumet Golf Course, Hancock Bottling, Sysco, Lakes Dairyland, Peterson Fish Market, Bob's Party Store, Louie's Super Value, Kallio Insurance, Superior Fast Track Lube, Hermans Jewelers, Candie's, Quality Hardware, Kari's Klip and Kurl, Gitzen, American Legion Post 291, LeBlancs Sales and Service, Newman's Appliance, Bucko's, Vollwerth's, Range Bank, Keweenaw Kitchens and Aspirus Keweenaw Rehab.
We appreciate all your support.
