PLYMOUTH, Mich. - Joseph G. Cencich passed away December 21, 2010 at the age of 85.
He was born and raised in Copper City and graduated from Calumet High School.
He moved to the Detroit area in the mid 1940s and then Plymouth in 1964.
He was a 36-year employee of General Motors, Detroit Diesel Division, in government sales.
Joseph was the beloved husband of the late Margaret; loving father of Colleen (Timothy) Quinn and Steven Cencich; dear grandfather of Carson; brother-in-law of Louise (John) Sustarich; uncle of Lori Ann (Kevin) Curie, Mary (John) McHale and Michael (Ann) Sustarich.
Visitation will be Sunday from 1 to 6 p.m. at the Schrader-Howell Funeral Home, 280 South Main Street, Plymouth.
Visitation will continue on Monday from 10 a.m. until time of Funeral Mass at 10:30 a.m. at St. Kenneth Catholic Church, 14951 Haggerty Road, Plymouth.
