MADISON, Wis. - Gloria (Schmitt) and Charlie Pihlaja and John Erickson, all of Houghton, along with David Sr. and Kathy Dokman of Port Huron, Mich. announce the engagement of their children, Jackelyn Erickson and David Dokman II.
Jackie is a graduate of Houghton High School and Grand Valley State University. She is currently working as a senior accountant for Shared Medical Services. Dave is a graduate of Almont High School and Michigan Technological University. He is currently employed by Trek Bicycle Corporation as a senior software support technician.
The two reside in Madison, Wis.
An August 2011 wedding in Houghton is planned.
