HOUGHTON - Mike and Kathleen Pietila of Iron Mountain announce the engagement of their daughter, Elizabeth Sue Pietila, to Jared Paul Kangas, son of Steve and Judi Kangas of Atlantic Mine.
Elizabeth is a Kingsford High School graduate who earned her biomedical engineering degree from Michigan Technological University and is currently seeking employment.
Jared is a Jeffers High School graduate who earned his civil engineering degree from Michigan Technological University and is currently employed by the city of Marquette in the engineering department.
A July 23, 2011, wedding is planned at the First Apostolic Lutheran Church in Houghton.
