HANCOCK - Kiira Beth Maki and Jeffrey David Baril were married by Pastor Jimalee Jones at Gloria Dei Lutheran Church in Hancock on July 9, 2011. Kiira is the daughter of Roger and Debbie Maki of Hancock and Tammy and Marty Schulze of Mesa, Ariz. Jeffrey is the son of David & Diane Baril of Lake Linden.

Matron of honor was Konnie Bonini, sister of the bride. Bridesmaids were Kylene Gilles, sister of the bride, Kristine Daavettila, sister of the groom, Vanessa Grignon, Briana Usitalo, and Leah Kurtz, friends of the bride.

Best man was Brent Fortin, Friend of the groom. Groomsmen were Nick Daavettila, brother-in-law of the groom, Karl Maki, brother of the bride, Joel Posey, Josh Bal and Brad Dionne, friends of the groom. Usher was Steve Short, cousin of the groom.

Ring bearer was Isaac Daavettila, nephew of the groom and flower girl was Ember Bonini, niece of the bride.

Organist was David Short.

The bride graduated from Michigan Technological University with a degree in business administration and currently works at Superior National Bank.
