Italian Hall victims remembered 98 years later

CALUMET - As it is now, Christmas Eve 98 years ago was a time for celebration, but a celebration of copper miners' families on the second floor of what was the Italian Hall building in Calumet turned tragic when a rush down the staircase led to the deaths of 73 people, many of them children.
