Five!
It was about 1935 to kindergarten, my teacher Miss Nye!
I walked to school from 93 Diamond Street now 1015 Houghton Avenue east and west to drive.
I somehow made it, proved it, I was a Spiroff alive!
What was our world in "35"?
Soon WWII the hope for man and freedom strive!
All of these years so many hurdles I honor and salute,
fix the present, the future will thrive.
For and of this history I take great pride!
For my past, I thank above!
The last thing I will ever do is hide!
