To the editor:
On March 4, the fourth annual Glide N Gorge took place at the Maasto Hiihto ski trails in Hancock. It was a beautiful sunny day with our trails in excellent condition.
Participants enjoyed a 3.5-mile ski/snowshoe along the trails with stops for appetizers, a main course, and then back to the chalet for desserts, entertainment and door prizes.
We were pleased to have 117 participants who helped us raise approximately $1,500. This money will be used to purchase and maintain equipment in order to keep the trails in the best condition possible.
