Concerned parents

April 28, 2012
The Daily Mining Gazette

To the editor:

There is a group of parents in the Hancock school district very concerned about the current Hancock school board's performance and integrity. These parents have spent much time and energy researching the actions and inactions of the board.

The oversight of the Hancock Public School Board is the responsibility of the district's citizens. I strongly encourage parents and taxpayers in the Hancock School District to attend the school board meetings and decide for yourself if the school board is leading by example or not.

The district's children and the top-notch teachers who educate them deserve a school administration that is making sound moral and fiscal decisions.
