To the editor:
All men are created equal means that all are born sinners, separated from God. "for all have sinned and come short of the glory of God," "For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord." Romans 3:23; 6:23.
How foolish are those who believe that Mother Nature can evolve from hydrogen atoms over billions of years into human beings. Those who worship "her" are modern-day idolaters.
"And I know that whatever God does is final. Nothing can be added to it or taken from it. God's purpose is that people should fear him." Ecclesiastes 3:14, NLT
What is the purpose of life? It is that we should revere the all-powerful God. To revere God means to respect and stand in awe of him because of who he is. Purpose in life starts with whom we know, not what we know or how good we are. The word "awesome" applies only to the omnipotent, omnicient, omnipresent God Almighty.
It is impossible to fulfill your God-given purpose unless you revere God and give him first place in your life. There is no other name given by which one may be saved from hell/jail, the great white throne Judgment and the lake of fire than the name - Jesus, Lord, Christ and Savior. Acts 4:12; Revelation 20:11-15.
