Community improvements

May 12, 2012
The Daily Mining Gazette

To the editor:

The Tamarack City Park Committee held a rummage sale recently to support park projects. Thank you to all who donated and shopped. If you donated one box or spent 25 cents, your presence and support is what matters to us.

Mary and Dave Pomroy, Chrissy Halkola, Shirley Reed, Gert Rivest, Joan Ozanich, Mark Ozanich and Pat Clements, thanks for another successful rummage sale.

We installed another swing set along with a "Tamarack City Park" sign.

Thank you to Pat Ziemnick/Ziemnick Excavating, Dan Corrigan/Peninsula Products, Jay Reed/Reed Construction, Alicia and Parker Reed, Steve Klein and Don Wareham Jr. The time and hard work you have contributed to the little community of Tamarack City is truly amazing.

There are so many people who have helped along the way, from installing playsets, to donating time, equipment and material, donating trees, tables, swings, returnable bottles and cans, money, rummage and shopping at our sales - the list is endless.
