To the editor:
The new helmet law in the State of Michigan certainly gave me a big surprise when I found out that my car insurance rates are increasing due to this.
I don't care if these people want to ride around without helmets, that's their choice. But when it affects all of us by increasing our insurances rates, to protect them, then we have a problem.
If they can't protect themselves, we'll have to do it for them.
Please write your State legislator to repeal this law.
