Kathryn I. Colvin

FORT WAYNE, Ind. - Kathryn I. Colvin, 81, of Fort Wayne, died on Wednesday, May 23, 2012, at Covington Manor.

She was born in Fort Wayne, where she was a lifetime resident and graduate of Central High School and Concordia Theological Seminary. She was a former director of Vincent House and member of Most Precious Blood Catholic Church.

Kathryn spent many years in Misery Bay. She founded the Misery Bay Library and restored the original Marci homestead farm to the level of Michigan historical landmark.

Surviving are her children: Betsy Lochner, Thomas Colvin, Cathi (Brian) Campbell and Michael Colvin, all of Fort Wayne; six grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.

Funeral Mass was held on Saturday in St. Patrick's Catholic Church.
