LAURIUM - Mrs. Patricia Lutz, 72, of Kearsarge St., Laurium, died at her home, Monday, May 28, 2012, following a long illness.
She was born in Laurium on March 9, 1940, to Harry and Eleanor Trathen. Mrs. Lutz was educated in the Calumet Public Schools and received her beautician training at the Marquette Beautician College.
She was married to Kenneth Lutz in St. Joseph Church in Calumet on January 26, 1963. The couple has continued residency in Laurium.
She was a member of St. Paul the Apostle Parish. For several years she was an active member of the Stillwaters Home Auxillary. Pat was a faithful fan of the Detroit Tigers and the Red Wings.
Mrs. Lutz is survived by her husband, Kenneth; three sons, Kenneth (Debbie) of Laurium, Brian (Shelly) of Laurium and Robert (Darlene) of Springton, Texas; three grandchildren, Josh, Briana and Jessie; her aunt, Mrs. Bernice Nagle of Williamsburg, Mich.; two cousins, Mrs. Shirley Kielty of Bloomfield, Mich. and Donald Hoganson of Detroit.
Friends may call in the Ryan Funeral Home on Friday from 10 a.m. until time of services at St. Paul the Apostle Church at 11 a.m. with the Rev. Fr. Abraham Mupparathara officiating.
