To the editor:
Thomas Jefferson said, "No free man shall ever be debarred from the use of arms," and added, " the strongest reason for the people to retain the right to keep and bear arms is, as a last resort, to protect themselves against tyranny in government."
Our founding fathers were forced into using the "bullet box," but we still have the "ballet box," our vote on the grand jury, trial jury and elections.
After the Civil War, the powers that be began reversing the role of government. Instead of government being a servant of the people, it began making the people a servant of the government.
Beginning with the Interstate Commerce Commission until today we have multitudes of unelected/unconstitutional agencies in true Marxist/fascist fashion who operate outside the Constitutional Rule of Law. They make up their own color of laws and enforcement personnel, destroying the very concept for which our Constitutional Republic was founded.
We no longer have separation of powers in government with "presidential directives" and "executive order," and czars and agencies subverting Constitutional mandates at will.

One-eyed Democrats blame the Republicans, and one-eyed Republicans blame Democrats. While no doubt meaning well, they are blinded to the fact both parties have been compromised and joined at the hip for decades.
We've accepted the Transportation Security Administration radiating your DNA or groping you at airports and, in some states, TSA roadblocks/check points on highways Soviet style.
Our "common laws" have been subvert and the Marxist sickle has been cutting away at our God-given inalienable rights/ liberties for decades, but when we experience the cursing blow of the Marxist's hammer, then even the blind should see why our forefathers risked their all for freedom from governmental tyranny.
Our Constitution was created to chain the limits on governmental powers/authority which is being subverted by government chaining down the people.
Amazingly, many still believe they're free, proving the power of psychological conditioning when even a dog knows better when chained to a stump.
