Al Aubin

LAKE LINDEN - Al Aubin, 95, of Lake Linden, passed away on June 1, 2012, at Our Lady of Mercy in Hubbell.

He was born in Hubbell on March 23, 1917, a son of Lawrence and Pauline Aubin. He graduated from Lake Linden-Hubbell High School in 1935.

He worked for C&H Mining for several years, Pearce Hardware in Lake Linden, Bergstrom Paper Mill in Neenah, Wis., and Schoolcraft Township Cemeteries until his retirement.

He was married to Marion Senne on March 4, 1962, and she died on August 23, 2005.

Al was a lifetime member of the Lake Linden-Hubbell Sportsman's Club and the NRA. He was an avid sportsman and loved to hunt and fish.

He was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church and regularly attended the Lake Linden Methodist Church also.

Al was kind and gentle-hearted. He enjoyed visiting with others as he had the "gift of gab."

He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife; and a brother, Raymond.

Al is survived by close friends, Randy and Kathy Crouch and family and Sandy and Larry Rheault and family; along with numerous cousins.

The funeral service will be at 2 p.m. on Sunday in the Pearce Funeral Home in Lake Linden with Fr. Francis Dobrzenski to officiate. Friends may call for an hour prior to the service on Sunday in the funeral home.
