Postal workers appreciated

June 2, 2012
The Daily Mining Gazette

To the editor:

All of us here at The Salvation Army would like to say a heartfelt thank you to all those postal carriers who participated in the May "Stamp Out Hunger" food drive done by the United States Postal Service.

We appreciate all those who did the picking up and all the packing of these food items.

Our thanks also goes out to those who gave so generously to the drive. The food came in at a very good time as our pantry shelves were getting low as is customary.

We should be in good shape to begin the summer season here at our food pantry now.
