The Omega House 10th Annual Golf Outing, which took place June 9 at the Michigan Tech Portage Lake Golf Course, was a great success and benefit to Omega House, providing end-of-life care in the Upper Peninsula's only hospice center. The outing was organized by Deb Young, with help from members of the board, staff and a team of Omega House volunteers.
We want to thank everyone who helped and who came out to make this event a success, including the over 90 golfers who participated, Mark Maroste and his staff at the Portage Lake Golf Course, and sponsors of this year's golf outing: Ameriprise Financial, Inc.; Aspirus Keweenaw Hospital; Aspirus Keweenaw Home Health and Hospice; Great Lakes Sound & Vibrations; Keweenaw Brewing Company; Portage Health; Range Bank; and Rukkila/Negro and Associates, CPA, PC.
