To the editor:
Recently, our garage went up in flames very rapidly, but the Calumet Township Fire Department was faster - they saved our house.
Our hearts were in our throats as we watched the eaves and roofing on the house emit pre-ignition vapors in the intense heat. Then the first truck arrived.
Thanks to all you volunteers on the Calumet Township Fire Department. We truly appreciate how your skills and dedication made the difference for us.
