HOUGHTON - A Celebration of Life Memorial and Mass Service are planned at St. Ignatius Loyola Catholic Church on July 6, 2012, at 11 a.m. with Fr. John Martignon officiating. He was the son of Emil and Elma Riutta of Hancock.
Bruce was a celebrated Olympic hockey player and All-American from Michigan Technological University who grew up in Hancock.
He passed away January 24, 2012, in Houston, Texas, after undergoing extensive aortic arch repair and stent replacement to his damaged dissected aorta.
A luncheon will follow at the church with all family and friends welcome to attend.
