July 5, 2012
The Daily Mining Gazette

HANCOCK - Friends and family are looking for a Hancock man who has not been seen since Monday.

John Posega, 50, of Hancock did not show up to work that day, and did not tell his employer he would be absent.

"We have not had any calls or contact by him," said Hancock Police Sgt. Jerry Hiltunen.

Posega is described as 5 feet, 11 inches and 155 pounds. He has a slim build, a dark complexion and a mustache-goatee. When last seen, he was wearing a dark blue Michigan Technological University polo shirt and blue jean shorts.

Posega could be driving a black 2002 Honda Accord bearing a Michigan license plate BCB3837.

Anyone with information as to his whereabouts is asked to call the Hancock Police Department at 482-3102.
